John Micklethwaite (1843-1906; ODNB), ecclesiastical architect, surveyor of the fabric of Westminster Abbey, 1898-1906, and architect to St George's Chapel, Windsor, 1900-6; founder member, Alcuin Club, 1897; carried out restoration of south transept and west front of the Abbey in consultation with William Douglas Caröe.
