Hanmer William Webb-Peploe (1837-1923; ODNB), vicar, St Paul's, Onslow Square, London, 1876-1919, and prebendary, St Paul's Cathedral, 1893-23. A leading evangelical and anti-ritualist; founder of the National Protestant Church Union, 1893, and active in the Evangelical Alliance, Keswick Convention and other evangelical bodies.
