Norman Straton (1840-1918; ODNB), bishop of Sodor and Man, 1892-1907, and of Newcastle, 1907-15; evangelical who was unpopular in the Newcastle diocese, then developing an Anglo-Catholic character which he failed to approach with sensitivity.
