907th day

I paid in £100 to my deposit account, & drew out £40. Then I finished the sermon for tomorrow. Also I attended Mattins & Evensong. A representative of the "Christian Commonwealth" interviewed me at some length, and went off with a photograph. May, the lay vicar, now a sergeant in the 'Pals' Battalion, came to see me. He was wounded in the back of the neck, but seems fairly fit otherwise. Bothamley came to supplicate for a C.M.S. drawing room on Feb 6th and obtained his request.
