94th day

A wet, warm day, & an incapacitating head–ache! I took exercise in the great Library, where I have an unimpeded walk of 200 feet. I attended Evensong in the Cathedral. At 7 p.m. I gave a lecture on the Yellowstone Park in the Town Hall. The slides were well–shown by a good lantern. The mayor presided, & he & I exchanged flatterous speeches. Old John Wilson attended together with his faithful henchman Galbraith. The Town–Hall was barely filled: & the audience was "eked–out" with the Cathedral Choir boys, some wounded soldiers, & the girls from the Training Colleges. The proceeds were for the Belgian Refugee Fund.
