I read through Charles's very interesting "Drew Lecture" on "Immortality". It is extremely suggestive & stimulating. Then I wrote to the "'Times" on "The Athanasian Creed".

During the afternoon I received a telegram from the Bishop's Chaplain announcing the death of Archdeacon Price. I ordered the cathedral bell to be tolled after service.
