Tuesday, June 11th, 1912.
Elizabeth Asquith was confirmed in Henry VIIth 's Chapel by the Dean. The Prime Minister attended with Mrs Asquith & a little group of friends . As we wended through the crowds, he commented on their number. I told him that most of them came from Wales!
At 2.30 p.m. Lord Northland, the eldest son of the Earl of Ranfurly, was married in S. Margaret's. The Sub–Dean of the Chapels Royal officiated, & brought the bright–coated children with him. I gave the briefest of addresses.
