I baptized Arthur Orr, the son of an American diplomatist. Mrs Whitelaw Reid was God–mother.
The King opened Parliament with the usual circumstance. Mrs Newman Smyth & her two daughters, and Mr and Mrs Arnold Pelly with their daughter came to lunch & to see the show.
