Saturday, March 10th, 1906.
My second Address on "Fundamental Christianity" was well attended in spite of the rain. The assembly had a more virile aspect than on the former occasion. I spoke for half an hour on "The Bible as the Manual of Fundamental Christianity". At the close, I announced that whosoever would place one penny placed in the plate held at the door, might take away a copy of the Free Church Catechism. I had provided 100 copies, all of which were promptly sold, & more clamoured for.
