Wednesday, May 13th, 1903.
Mr Howland & his stenographer (a lady) arrived, & for about 20 minutes I dictated my opinions on the Anti-rate campaign of the sectaries. Then I attended the Convocation, & sat there all the morning. Canon Knox Little handed in notice of a gravamen calling upon the Bps. to make a declaration with respect to the Virgin Birth &c. If this comes on for discussion, I shall have to defend myself.
