Wednesday, December 5th, 1923.
I wrote sermons during the morning. We went into Durham, where Clayton & I lunched with the Bishop of Jarrow, Ella & Fearne with Mrs Moore. We all attended the rendering of Bach's Oratorio in the Cathedral. After tea, we all returned to Auckland, giving Jimmie Dobbie a lift back to Spennymoor.
