Friday, April 20th, 1923.

Caröe went off by the early train. I worked at the Westminster Sermon until Morris of St Oswald's, Durham, came to see me. He was followed by Warth of S. Luke's, Darlington. They both stayed to lunch. I motored into Durham, & saw the Archdeacon of Auckland. After tea with Wilson, I returned to the Castle.
