Saturday, January 7th, 1922.

I wrote again to pringle asking him to reconsider my suggestion of B.A. Most of the morning I went through accumulated correspondence with Clayton; and then I prepared an address for tomorrow's Institution. After lunch I walked with Ernest in the Park. Later Frank and his wife arrived, & Wilson. Lord Thurlow dined: his wife came in afterwards, and played the organ in the chapel.
