A most beautiful day. I worked at the last lecture all the morning. Wynne Willson came to say Goodbye. He said that his time with me had been the happiest time oin his life. After lunch I motored to Ledbury with Fearne & the Radfords. We had tea at the Hospital, & Bannister showed us the parish church. We returned to the Palace about 6 p.m. Mrs Woods, the mother of the Bishop of Peterborough called. She said the Bishop was still awaiting directions about Sweden from the Archbishop of Canterbury, & had so far taken no steps to get a passport.
