Monday, December 9th, 1918.
I returned to Hereford in great discomfort, &, on reaching the Palace, sent for Dr Paterson, who sent me forthwith to bed. There I had to set to re–arranging engagement. Bishop Fyson was telegraphed to, and asked to undertake the Confirmations at Ross, & in Shropshire, which were fixed for tomorrow & Wednesday.
