893rd day

Beyond attending Mattins, and a Meeting of the Sherburn Trustees, I did nothing but work on the lecture, write letters, and read the papers. These were more than commonly interesting as they contained the Answer of the Allies to President Wilson's 'Note' on Peace: & the Report of the meeting at the Guild Hall respecting the new Loan. Everybody save me went to the Cinematograph Show in the Bailey, and saw the Italian War–films.
