A beautiful spring day. Cruickshank walked with me through Houghall Wood. Gee called on me.
As a Royal Chaplain he had enquired what were the King's wishes in the matter of total abstinence so far as concerned chaplains. He was informed that the king desired them to follow their own will in the matter.
