James, Maimie, & Kathleen went off to Scotland after lunch. I went for a drive in the motor, by way of testing its repairs. The country looked very beautiful in the spring sunshine. I am still engaged on the lecture on Magna Carta, which too rashly I promised to deliver to the University next term.
