I wrote to Reggie Still, and Edwin Saxton: walked round Houghall Wood with Ella & Logic: worked at Magna Carta. This being the "Day" for another exhibition of German "frightfulness", we shut the shutters, extinguished lamps, & had fire–extinguishers examined!
