Tuesday, June 30th, 1914.

The Mothers Union held their annual Festival in the Cathedral, & I preached to them. The women filled the great church, & behaved very well.

Then I shewed Mr Justice Sankey & his young men – Gwynn & Butler – over the Cathedral.

Finally I wrote letters to Mary, Hutton, and Alford.
