I baptized Janet Egidia Montgomerie in S. Margaret's. She screamed unflinchingly throughout the service.
Then I attended the Prayer–book Revision Committee at the Church House. The Dean attended & took an effective part. In the afternoon I deserted the Ctee in order to attend the Psycho–therapeutic Ctee in the City. We had Osler present as a witness. He would have nothing to do with clerical & faith healing.
I was pledged to dine with the Canada Club: and Dr Bovey had promised to call for me in his motor. But he failed to keep tryst, a most tremendous thunderstorm which raged from 7 to 7.45 p.m. may have served as an excuse: but I had no dinner!!
