Saturday, May 15th, 1909.

We spent the morning miserably in packing: sending off to Montreal one portmanteau with books & fur–coats, & sending on to Washington three boxes. Then we moved over to Trinity Rectory with our lighter equipage.

In the afternoon we looked on at a base–ball match between Harvard & Princeton. The victory was with the home team. We were amused at the singular dance by which the enthusiasm of the youth was expressed at the close of the play. The weather became hot and sultry as the day progressed.
