Advent Sunday, December 1st, 1907.

There were but 30 comts at 8 a.m. when Knox celebrated. At the later service I celebrated: there were 101 comts. The congregation at Mattins was disappointingly small. I preached on 'The Day of the Lord'.

In the afternoon I went to the Oxford House, accompanied by Bob Bineham, and addressed about 400 working men.

At Evensong, I preached in S. Margaret's again, and after the Benediction we sang the "Dies Irae".

Reichel spent the Sunday here.
