Tuesday, January 2nd, 1906.
On this day Harold arrived to enter formally on his residence in this house. He brought from his parents messages couched in grateful terms. I trust it may turn out well.
On Thursday, the 4th Jany, we had the choirboys of S. Margaret's to a "party". Gerald turned up, & distributed his toys. My wife came down to entertain the youngsters, but she ought perhaps to have stayed upstairs.
