On Monday Dec. 4th 1905 Mr Balfour resigned the Premiership. The King sent for Sir Henry Campbell Bannerman, who accepted the task of forming a Ministry on Tuesday Dec. 5th. The same day a part of Charing Cross Station fell, killing 7 workmen, & wounding 25 persons.
