Wednesday, April 12th, 1905.
Malcolm came to lunch & say goodbye before going to South Africa with Lord Selborne. Reichal happened to come in & joined us. Lake from Leyden came to see me & returned to dine. Inge's final lecture was excellent.
The confirmation took place in S. Margaret's. Welldon officiated. I presented 46 candidates, of whom only 14 were males! Among the candidates were the twins – Betty & Angela Manners: and Frances Maurice, a grand-daughter of the Prophet.
