I went to S. Margaret's at 8a.m. & received the Holy Communion.
In the course of the forenoon I had a conversation with Ellison about my plan for making a musical career possible for Harold Knowling.
At 2 p.m. I join in marriage James Harold Cock and Marion Scott.
From 2.30 p.m to 4 p.m. I attended a meeting of the Convocation Committee on "Anti-Christian" literature &c.
Harold Knowling accompanied me to Stamford Hill, where I lectured on "Westminster Abbey". I told him of my project for him; & he seemed delighted. Thus I stand pledged to new responsibility.
