11th Sunday after Trinity, August 14th, 1904.

There was a large congregation at 10 a.m. when I preached in the Abbey on the Responsibility of Privilege. The collection of the Children's Country Holiday Fund exceeded £41.

I preached again in the afternoon, & - although the weather had become rainy - there was again a large congregation. Offertory nearly £23.
