I worked at my lecture all the morning: &, in the afternoon, went to Oxford for the Bursar's Dinner.

This morning the long-expected episcopal appointments were announced. They seem to be generally satisfactory.

Bp. Ryle leaves Exeter for Winchester

Bp. Jacob " Newcastle " S. Alban's

Bp. Lloyd becomes Bp. of Newcastle

Robertson of King's College becomes Bp. of Exeter.
