Aldenham Park, Morville, Shropshire, is a late-seventeenth century house set in parkland. Until its sale in 1959, it was the ancestral seat in England of the Acton family. Their titles and Roman Catholic roots enabled them to forge close ties with Neopolitan royalty during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
