Edgeworth Lenora [Nora] Scott [née Hill] (1842-1924), daughter of Frederick Hill and Martha Cowper; m. (1867) Sir John Scott, an English judge who worked primarily in India and Egypt; wrote about her life in India; once widowed, lived at 17 Cowley Street, Westminster; remained active in philanthropic and political campaigning, holding salons in her home and publishing frequently in the Times.
