Bertram Edward Dawson
Bertram Dawson (1864-1945; ODNB), leading figure in the medical profession; after the First World War, consultant on government policy concerning the national provision of medical services; physician to Edward VII and George V, whom he treated during his final illness; created Lord Dawson of Penn, 1920; Viscount Dawson, 1936; first physician of the House of Lords.
