Adolf Keller (1872-1963), Swiss writer and leading figure in the European ecumenical movement; engaged closely with the writings of Barth, Freud, Jung, and Bergson; friend of Freud, Jung, Thomas Mann, and Albert Schweitzer; assisted refugees from Europe, Russia, Armenia, including Assyrian-born and 'non-Aryan', as secretary-general, European Central Office for Ecclesiastical Aid until 1945.
