Philip Gibbs (1877-1962; ODNB), witer and journalist, best known as a war correspondent for The Daily Graphic in Bulgaria in 1912 and for The Daily Chronicle and The Daily Telegraph during the First World War; KBE, 1920; campaigner for world peace thereafter and author of around fifty novels.
