Frederick William Dwelly

Frederick Dwelly (1881-1957; ODNB), Church of England clergyman, influential in the early parishes he served in Windermere, 1906-11, Cheltenham, 1911-16, and Southport, 1916-24; canon of the newly consecrated Liverpool Cathedral, 1925, sub-dean, 1928, and dean, 1931-55; major contributor to the development of cathedral services; autocratic tendencies noted by some.
