Foss Westcott (1863-1949; ODNB), son of Brooke Foss Westcott, bishop of Durham, 1890-1901; missionary priest, India, from 1889; bishop of Chota Nagpur, 1905-19; bishop of Calcutta and metropolitan of India, Burma and Ceylon, 1919-45; prominent in the Oxford Group movement during his visits to Britain from 1933; see Volumes 59, 62, 64, 69, 74, 76.
