Carola Oman [married name, Lenanton] (1897-1978; ODNB), daughter of Sir Charles Oman; baptised by Henson in All Souls College, using a punch bowl as its chapel had no font; nurse and poet during the First World War; author of novels, histories and biogrpahies, most notably a life of Nelson (1946); m. (1922) William Lenanton, timber merchant, kt 1946. See also Volume 77.
