Alfred Verney-Cave, 5th Baron Braye (1849-1928; WWW), son of an Anglican rector; converted to Roman catholicism while at Christ Church, Oxford, 1868; inherited the barony 1879; devoted promoter of catholic causes, including resistance to divorce law reform.
