Saturday, April 26th, 1924.
We left Wyelands shortly after 10 a.m. & motored to Exeter by way of Gloucester, Bristol, Bridgewater, & Taunton, arriving shortly after 6 p.m., having travelled 138 miles. In 3 stages we have motored 422 miles viz.
Auckland Castle to Sandbeck Park | 114 miles. |
Sandbeck Park to Wyelands | 170. |
Wyelands to Exeter Deanery | 138. |

We found the Dean, Mrs Gamble, and their daughter at home, and had a pleasant quiet evening with them.
Anthea Gamble is a pretty girl, who has just "come out" at the County Ball.
