Thursday, March 13th, 1924.
I worked at the Edinburgh Article: walked in the Park: motored to Pelton, & had an interview with Griffith, a "shell–shocked" Ordination candidate, whom I required to get a doctor's certificate on his present health: went on to Gateshead, and confirmed 140 persons in S. James' Church. Then I returned to Auckland, being delayed at Spennymoor by a puncture, which had to be remedied.
