Tuesday, July 30th, 1918.
1457th day
I got up after seeing the doctor, and lunched downstairs, but I returned to bed before dinner, being thereto hustled by the nurse. Clarence Stock sate with me in the garden for an hour, & talked about eugenics. Beyond reading the newspaper, & "Guy Mannering" I did nothing all day. The heat was rather oppressive.
