I succeed in finishing the sermon, attended Mattins and Evensong; also met Watkins at the Chapter Clerk's Office, and settled about Hughes's keys; walked with Hughes & Logic.

The "Times" prints my letter under the heading "Changes in the Church – a Warning & a Protest". I think it ought to have the effect of directing attention to the sly conspiracy for 'rushing' the Church while everybody is obsessed with the War.
