Ernest sends me a long and vivid description of the Zeppelin's Fall which he witnessed, and also some small relics of the disaster. I worked away at a sermon, and then entertained three ladies at lunch – Lady Scarbrough, Lady Middleton, & her step–daughter. After lunch I shewed them the Cathedral, and then attended Evensong. After a short walk with Logic, I wrote a short additional paragraph to be added to the Edinburgh Article, and sent it on to Harold Cox. Also I wrote a sheaf of letters.
