Friday, February 4th, 1916.

550th day

I returned to London, arriving at Waterloo about 11 a.m. After leaving my bags at Little Cloisters, I drove to the Athenaeum, & picked up my letters. I lunched at the club, and found time to have my hair cut. I went to 18 Cowley Street, and had tea with Ella, in the midst of a horde of cousins. Then I went to 3 Little Cloisters, & saw Ernest. Finally, I dined at the Reform Club with Knox & Talbot.
