270th day
Another glorious spring day. Harold Cox left after breakfast and I made a futile start on a sermon. I was visited by Moulsdale, the senior Proctor, who came to submit the arrangements for the lecture on June 15th. That date has been chosen as being the very day of the meeting at Runnymede. Hughes walked with me round Houghall Wood. The blue–bells are beginning to show signs of blooming. I attended Evensong. Ethel Gore Booth arrived for the week end.
