238th day
I went to the Cathedral at 8 a.m.: and received the Holy Communion. Then, my head aching rather badly, I walked with Ker through Houghall Wood. The fineness of the day compensated for the miry state of the paths. After lunch we went to the School, & watched the Sports. I attended Evensong: & then wrote a short "impression" of Wilson's Funeral for the local paper. Dawson Walker came to see me about securing the use of Little St Mary's as the college chapel for St John's. I was benevolent, but sceptical as to the legal possibility.
