Violent winds, relatively high temperature, intermittent rain–storms. I presided at a full meeting of the Chapter. Bayley reported that Captain Rowlandson had been wounded. Arthur Headlam & his wife came to lunch. Marion & I walked with Logic after lunch. I attended Evensong & wrote letters.
