I went to the Holy Communion, & received the sacrament at 8 a.m: attended Mattins: worked at the sermon for Sunday, went to the Skating Rink, & said grace for Colonel Blackett's Battalion which was there being entertained at dinner: attended Evensong in the Cathedral.

The choirboys came to the Deanery for their annual party. They arrived at 5.15 p.m. and left about 8.40 p.m. The time was filled with games: & at the end they sang two carols in the Chapel.
