Thursday, July 9th, 1914.

I went to the Holy Communion in Henry VIIth's chapel & received the Sacrament, almost side by side with Gore. I spent the day in the Representative Church Council, & voted for the admission of women to the franchise: & against their admission to the elected bodies. But both were carried.
