Saturday, January 17th, 1914.

Chapter Meeting:

1. Agreed to remit Geoffrey Heseldon's school fees.
2. " to confirm appointment of Dioc: Chancellor.
3. " that the disused Communion table, now in the chapter library might be placed in the Deanery Chapel.
4. Akeroyd attended, & made his declaration as lay–clerk.

Watkins opposed the confirmation of the Chancellorship, & would have postponed it, but to this I refused assent, & put it to the vote, when it was carried with his sole dissent.
